| The Conservancy Villages |
Here nature will be nurtured |
Conservancy defined: "The voluntary co-operative environmental management of an area by its community and users."
|
Rooi-Els, Pringle Bay and Betty's Bay lie within South Africa's first Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage site. |
Committed to conserving a healthy, natural environment in which indigenous flora, fauna, marine life and humans co-exist and thrive in harmony, all three villages have become Conservancies, registered with CapeNature. |
| Conservancies are non-profit, non-legal entities. |
| Their strength lies in the dtermination of their members to promote the protection of landscapes of exceptional beauty, undisturbed or important biological communities, and the indigenous plants and animals of the area. |
Please join your local Conservancy..and help preserve a legacy for our children and future generations
