The Hangklip coast is paradise for outdoor enthusiasts offering dving, surfing, rock and surf angling, kayak fishing, spear fishing, crayfishing, various safe slipway's and harbours throughout the villages, in short any sort of fishing or sea water activity imaginable.
Please observe all local regulations when fishing and obtain the required permits available at the Post office (Kleinmond, Betty's Bay & Pringle Bay) and respect the environment by keeping the beach free of fisherman's debris and litter.

Surf spots |

- Betty's Bay Main Beach at low tide, with some classic right-handers coming through with an offshore wind. Comfortable beach break.
- Pringle Bay Beach offers a good wave at high tide on a South-East wind. Left hand reef break.

- Walk along the Kleinmond main beach to the High Dune; fishing from the rocks along the shoreline at Sandown Bay
- Palmiet beach : turn towards the parking site on the road to the Caravan Park
- In Betty's Bay at Dawidskraal along the shoreline
- Stony Point, Betty's Bay: catch directly from the Harbour wall
- Dive to the parking area at Tom se Klip (Silversands Beach) and walk down to the coast
- Drive to Hangklip – stop approximately 6km's behind Tom se Klip and walk down to Aasbankies at the beach.
- Pringle Bay : Fishing directly from the rocks along the shoreline
- Catch directly from the slipway at Mastbay or launch fishing boats here
- Rooi Els: Fishing directly from the rocks – drive through the village to the last road, turn right down to the beach
- Kogelbaai: Drive toward Gordon's Bay until you reach the seabath. Fishing can be done in front of the seabath.
