With more than twenty defined walks in Kleinmond alone, and many well developed networks of footpaths along the coast & mountains, there is no excuse not to venture outdoors. Novice or die-hard fanatic, there is bound to be a short thirty minute stroll, a gruelling two-day hike and everything in between to apeal to all tastes.
 
 
Kleinmond and surrounds - The Hangklip-Kleinmond Tourism office will gladly assist you with a map showing all the popular Kleinmond hikes.   Betty's Bay and surrounds - The Harold Porter National Botanical Garden is situated on Clarence Drive in Betty's bay and undoubtably allows for some of the most spectacular walks in the Biosphere. The circular route in the vicinity of the amphi theathre provides easy access for wheelchairs and strollers.   Pringle Bay - Pringle Bay beach with it's powdery, white sand is a really great place to take a slow & romantic stroll. More energetic hikers can walk to the lighthouse and Moonlight Bay or traverse back to Betty's Bay along the coast from Maasbaai(Mast bay) . Drive towards the end of the Hangklip Road.   Rooi Els - There are no defined walks in RooiEls. There are some mountain paths but most of these are located on private land with no access to the public. The beach is great for walking and can be accessed from a parking bay on Clarence Drive outside of town.
